  1. Oh, the life of a sailor! I once caught barracuda off Puerto Rico while entertaining several of John's customers (he was too sick to go). We all threw up during the a.m. (was it the beer at 10?) but recovered when we stopped at a small island for lunch. The crew made saviche (sp?) and grilled the rest. Best fish I have ever tasted.

  2. I think this is one of my favorite photos. I'll put it on my screen at school! Maybe it's also one you will look back on with longing.
I've been to Mossell Bay (rocky!! with a cool lighthouse and odd tombstone) for lunch. It's nearer Cape Town. Richards Bay is north of Durban and nearer to Joburg, where Peter Goldsmid lives, and Didima (amazing landscape and San paintings on cliffs at top of Drakensburg Mountains). Also near Hluhluwe-Imfolozi (shoe shu we), the closest to Eden I've seen - wonderful guides to show you the animals. Let us know about the Zephr. Love and hugs.
